Athena

Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-10-03. Athena is a personal content creation and publishing workspace operated by an individual creator. Contact: tamar.mekhrishvili.222@gmail.com.

Information and use

Athena stores project settings, generated cards and videos, narration text, captions, approvals and publication history. It uses YouTube API Services to verify the authorized channel and upload videos you explicitly approve and select. This involves channel identifiers and names, OAuth tokens, video identifiers, links, upload dates and visibility. Athena never requests or stores your Google account password.

Services that receive information

Railway hosts Athena and its database. YouTube receives selected videos, titles, descriptions and audience and visibility settings. Facebook and Instagram receive content only when separately selected. OpenAI processes generation prompts and, for existing OpenAI narration jobs, narration text. Google Gemini processes narration text and voice style instructions for Gemini narration jobs; its data handling depends on the account, region and service tier under the Gemini API Terms. Athena does not send YouTube account information or OAuth tokens to either narration provider. Athena does not sell YouTube API data, use it for AI training or advertising targeting, or download videos from YouTube.

Optional video analytics

Analytics notice effective 2026-10-05. Athena can read performance counters for videos published through this workspace from connected Facebook, Instagram and Buffer TikTok accounts. YouTube video counters and available watch statistics are read only after you explicitly enable optional YouTube analytics for that project. This optional use requires separate consent in Analytics and does not change existing upload choices or schedules. Read permissions may require account reauthorization. Metrics are fetched on demand, used only to display your performance dashboard, and are not saved to the application database, used for AI generation, or combined across platforms. Your browser holds the fetched report temporarily. Disable optional YouTube analytics in Analytics to stop further reads. Disconnecting YouTube also withdraws this consent. Deleted publication identifiers cannot be used to retrieve metrics.

Storage and security

The workspace requires authentication. Refresh tokens and OAuth client secrets are server configuration; access tokens are short-lived and used in server memory. Requests to Google use HTTPS. Channel names are retrieved during checks rather than stored in the application database. Your browser holds temporary interface state; Athena has no advertising trackers or embedded YouTube player.

Control and deletion

In Connections → YouTube, choose Delete stored YouTube data to remove channel and video identifiers and links from application publication records. A minimal local action record remains to prevent duplicate uploads; it contains no Google channel/video identifier. Original Athena videos and captions remain. Archive preserves content and is not deletion.

Disconnect YouTube disables further API use for that project, requests Google token revocation and removes stored API identifiers. If Google cannot confirm revocation, the interface reports this and retries during maintenance. You can also revoke authorization through Google Account connections. Revocation may affect other connections using the same Google grant. YouTube uploads are not deleted; manage them in YouTube Studio.

While running, Athena checks accepted connections at least daily and removes identifiers when Google reports expired or revoked authorization. Stored upload identifiers are removed after 29 days by hourly maintenance. Repeated service outages can delay checks; deletion requests may also be sent to tamar.mekhrishvili.222@gmail.com and will be handled within seven days. Server configuration and local setup files can retain disabled or revoked tokens until the operator removes them; this is separate from deleting active database identifiers. Infrastructure backups follow the hosting provider’s retention settings and are not claimed to be immediately erased.
